Will e-sports help fight pandemia?

In connection with the pandemia of the coronovirus, it is necessary to support our young generation - this is how the Ministry of Education of Russia said. Cybersport is one of the youth leisure alternatives, so it is necessary to develop this direction.

Nikolai Fedchenko - Director of the Organization for Methodological Work with Physical Education, FCSFV considers this sport to be indispensable during self-isolation. If a person cannot go to a cafe, cinema, shopping center, virtual sport helps him to remain in good shape, maintain logical thinking, reaction and much more.

It turns out that back in 2019, an agreement was concluded between the FCS and the Ministry of Education on joint work in the field of e-sports. According to statistics, 80% of e-sportsmen are engaged in football, volleyball and other sports offline.

There are already significant shifts in this direction, especially after the victory of Team Spirit at the Budapest tournament The International. Jan Nepomnya, Grandmaster and European Champion believes that this is a turning point in relation to Russians to e-sports. The cup belongs to us again - the chess player rejoiced, and this is wonderful! Jan hopes that now the Russians will be more respectful and with understanding of this sport.

Also, it cannot but rejoice that according to the Cyber-sport.ru report, the Ukrainian team got into the PSG Major Stockholm playoffs in CS: GO. This large tournament with a prize pool of $ 2 million gathered the most powerful teams, as well as bright stars that only recently caught fire in the sky of e-sports. Positive statistics of competition inspires great hope for victory!
